The Accumulator is a powerful tape analysis program.  Like the Delineator, the Accumulator is not price based.  The motion of the Accumulator is determined by one of 4 proprietary tape reading algorithms.  Depending on which Accumulator you select, each provides a different insight as to the character of trading in a security during a trading day.

The Accumulator shown above is the "Timing" Accumulator.  It is not price based although it looks like it could be a moving average.  If you already have experience with technical indicators, your intuition about how the Timing Accumulator might be used is correct.  Used in conjunction with the Delineator, the Accumulators will provide a solid basis for trading.
